Year 6 Goings On
Cycling on the road was amazing. The best thing about it is that now I know how to be safe on the road and know what the signs mean and how to judge when to go or not on my bike. I’ve learnt how to be a more confident rider. If you are a Year 6 and you decide you want to do it, the instructors are really kind and supportive and they make it really fun.
Year 6 Residential Trip
Year 6 enjoyed a week of exciting activities on their residential trip to Dorset.
Dare to Believe
We were invited to the ‘Dare to Believe’ event, organised by the Youth Sport Trust and Allianz, to celebrate the Winter and Paralympic Games 2018! We took part in four different sporting challenges – balance boarding (representing snowboarding skills), a slalom and target relay (representing the biathlon), indoor curling (which we loved!) and hockey (using pucks, just like ice hockey).
We were privileged to meet Montell Douglas, who had just returned from Pyeongchang, where she had represented Great Britain as a member of the bobsleigh team. How inspiring!
